CONDITIONS OF USE

The applicant, through his duly authorized representative, accepts these conditions.

⦁ The parties agree that all data that may be transmitted by Solutions Mesonet under this agreement is considered confidential, even if it may otherwise be made available to the public.

⦁ No data will be transmitted to the applicant before Solutions Mesonet has obtained permission from the owners of the requested data.

⦁ The applicant undertakes to use the data transmitted only within the framework of his research project. He specifically waives the use of this data for personal purposes or for the benefit of others.

⦁ The applicant undertakes not to commercialize the data transmitted or the results of his research project.

⦁ The applicant guarantees Solutions Mesonet that the data transmitted will remain confidential. To this end, it undertakes in particular not to transmit, disclose or otherwise give access to third parties to the data. It further undertakes to treat the data strictly confidentially and to take all reasonable means to protect its confidentiality.

⦁ The applicant agrees not to reproduce or duplicate the data unless it is necessary for the realization of his research project.

⦁ The applicant agrees not to alter, modify or otherwise transform the data.

⦁ The applicant agrees to adequately cite the owners of the data and to mention that they have been validated by Solutions Mesonet in any publication of their work and research results. In the event that the applicant authorized Solutions Mesonet to disseminate his research results, Solutions Mesonet undertakes to cite him as the author of the research and its results.

⦁ The applicant agrees to indemnify the owners of the data and Solutions Mesonet for any prejudice that non-compliance with this agreement may cause them.

⦁ The applicant acknowledges that the data is transmitted as is and without guarantee as to its availability, accuracy, reliability, completeness, sufficiency or precision. The applicant undertakes to indemnify and hold Solutions Mesonet and the owners of the data harmless from all liability with regard to any damage, direct or indirect, caused or resulting from the use of this data or the impossibility of using it.

⦁ The applicant acknowledges that he does not acquire any rights in relation to the data other than those to use them in accordance with the project described in the “Project description” section.

⦁ At the end of the research work or in the event of abandonment of his research project, the applicant undertakes to destroy the data received and grants Solutions Mesonet the right to cite his contribution to the research project.
